Wii. Just a short wait later, Nintendo’s returned to its first Wii Mario game to give it a second go: there is so much creativity, variety and challenge poured into this sequel. 2007 Super Mario Galaxy was brilliant, but 2010’s Super Mario Galaxy 2 is absolutely amazing.

It was out to scare you, and for the most part gamers that walked the haunted halls of the USG Ishimura were scared, and loved most every minute of it. Dead Space Extraction, brought to the Wii by the newly formed EA Visceral Games and third party developer Eurocom, isn’t out to do what its predecessor accomplished. Instead, Extraction blends first person “light gun” action with a prequel story and plenty of narration. Where Dead Space was out to have you questioning what was behind every corner, Extraction embraces the grim inevitability of the cast and crew. It’s action first, story a close (and contesting) second, and horror a distant and lagging third.
